While inspiring mum Caresse Hemraj was named Ms Women Empowerment SA 2026, her adorable daughter Sunehra Hemraj was named Little Miss Barbie 2026 and Little Miss Personality 2026.

Proud single mother Caresse said that as her daughter’s role model she needed to break free from being an introvert and lacking self-confidence.

“This title is a huge achievement for me and is a giant leap in overcoming my fears and breaking free from my shell. The death of my brother two years ago was a turning point for me. He held the title Mr Bollywood SA 2023 and Mr Brand Ambassador at the same event,” said Caresse.
She is a cancer survivor and draws from her experiences to inspire and motivate those around her to go beyond their limits, overcome obstacles and adversity, using those experiences as fuel to be stronger mentally and emotionally.
She explained that she and her daughter contribute monthly to SPCA Amanzimtoti as they both adore animals.
She explained that winning Ms Empowerment SA 2026 brings her closer to continue building herself to help create a world in which every woman can dream big, speak freely without fear, and achieve their goals.
“I consider this a victory not only for myself, but for every woman who has been marginalised, oppressed or silenced,” said Caresse.
She added that her daughter is a natural born leader.
“She is a brave, compassionate, creative, curious, independent, strong little lady. I just know she will obtain great things in life,” said the proud mother.
