Schools invited to join municipal recycling project
In an effort to reduce waste and promote the culture of recycling, eThekwini Municipality invites schools to join its recycling project.
ETHEKWINI Muncipality is calling on schools to participate in recycling to stand a chance at winning a prize and contribute towards reducing waste and promoting a clean, green school culture and environment.

In a post on social media, the eThekwini Municipality explained that recyclable materials, including old textbooks, study guides that are no longer needed, plastics, cans and cardboard, can be recycled as part of the project.
The Waste Management Directorate will provide bulk bags for participating schools and the school that collects the highest number of books stands a chance at receiving a prize.
