Commitment to cleanliness at Illovo Beach

Following last year's community clean-up efforts, bins have finally been installed around the Illovo Beach area to keep it clean and tidy.

FOLLOWING its much-needed clean-up and makeover thanks to the community, Illovo Beach now has bins so that clean-up efforts are not in vain.

Sapphire Coast Tourism’s Romy Wenzel extended sincere thanks to its community partners, Tidy Towns Amanzimtoti, which supplied the bins, ATKV Natalia and its maintenance team, which installed the bins, and local residents for sponsoring the poles.

“We’re delighted to share that the bins are now officially in place at Illovo Beach. New stickers will be applied in due course, kudos to KZN Print Media for their support. This is a true example of the Sapphire Coast community working hand in hand to keep our coastline clean, beautiful, and litter-free,” said Wenzel.
