The campaign brought together passionate volunteers, community stakeholders, and environmental champions, with support from eThekwini Municipality’s Waste Management Directorate.

In a statement, eThekwini said the initiative served as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through collective action.

“Beyond the clean-up, the campaign also raised awareness about reducing waste, protecting marine life, and promoting sustainable habits. Let us continue to play our part in keeping our beaches clean, safe, and welcoming for all, because every positive action counts,” said eThekwini.
