Creativity on full display as camera club holds monthly competition
The Sapphire Coast Camera Club holds a monthly competition to decide the best photograph taken by its junior and senior members.
PLANNING for their July entries came down to time of day and light for the creative photographers of Sapphire Coast Camera Club, as the set subject this time around challenged members to capture the sunrise.

The club’s amateur, novice and seasoned shutterbugs creatively came up with compositions to make their set subject photographs stand out. July’s set subject winner was Mark Zunckel, for his elegant, picturesque interpretation of the subject.

The more open-ended side of the monthly competitions run by the club saw photographer Leanne Troskie capture a vibrant, ultra-urban night-time shot of harbour lights to win the best senior photo category.

Best junior went to Benita van Eeden’s silky-smooth long exposure entitled “Waves meet Sky.”

For August, club members will take on food photography, putting together a food arrangement.
