Join SA Air Force for fundraising bowls
The Durban branch of the South African Air Force Association are hosting a welfare fundraising day at the Amanzimtoti Bowling Club.
THE SA Air Force Association’s (SAAFA) Durban branch will host a fundraising fun day at the Amanzimtoti Bowling Club on August 26.

Steve Bekker, SAAFA country vice president in KZN, said the day serves as a welfare fundraiser for fellow military veterans deserving of assistance.

The association was established in 1945 and served to assist demobilised airmen following World War II, in addition to widows and orphans of deceased airmen, in addition to promoting camaraderie among serving and ex-members of the SA Air Force.
Bekker invites other organisations and individuals to join SAAFA for the relaxing, fun day of bowls, and to experience the association’s camaraderie first-hand.
RSVP by August 21 by emailing stevejbekker@gmail.com. Participating in the fun day costs R225 and includes bowls, light lunch and access to a cash bar. You are encouraged to bring cash for lucky draws.
