AFTER weeks of auditions, workshops, mentoring and unforgettable performances, Sphephelo Ntshangase was crowned the winner of Galleria’s Got Talent (GGT) 2026 on September 19, walking away with an incredible R150 000 in cash.

Ntshangase impressed the judges and audience with a standout performance, followed closely by Ntokozo Madlala who won R60 000, while Nokubonga Luswazi claimed third place, receiving R40 000.

The highly-anticipated finale delivered an evening of exceptional local talent, entertainment and no shortage of celebration as performers, families, loyal supporters and the community joined for the culmination of one of the mall’s biggest annual events.

Galleria Mall general manager Kurt Hoggan said that the show goes beyond competition and is more about providing a platform for proudly South African talent to be seen, heard and shine as they get the opportunity to pursue their dreams.

“This year’s Galleria’s Got Talent has been an incredible journey. The calibre of talent we saw throughout the competition was exceptional and narrowing it down to our finalists was certainly not easy. We are incredibly proud of every contestant who took the brave step of putting their talent on stage. Sphephelo, Ntokozo and Nokubonga are all incredibly deserving of their achievements,” added Hoggan.

GGT attracted a tremendous response with hundreds of entries received from across SA. Contestants participated in a rigorous process that included auditions, workshops and mentoring sessions designed to help them develop their performances and prepare for the live shows.

Galleria spokesperson Anusha Timul extended sincere appreciation to the sponsors and partners who helped make GGT 2026 a success, including GWM Haval Toti, Bluff Meat Supply, The Fun Company, Nu Metro and East Coast Radio.

“As the curtain closes on GGT 2026, Galleria Mall congratulates the winners, as well as all the contestants who participated in this year’s competition. The stage may be closing for 2026, but for these talented performers, their journey is only beginning,” concluded Timul.
