Doon Heights Primary wins rugby tournament

Amanzimtoti Primary School congratulated Doon Heights on the win and thanked the tournament's sponsors.

DOON Heights Primary School’s rugby team was crowned the champions of the inaugural Uphondo 7’s Tournament, which was hosted by Amanzimtoti Primary School on September 13.

Filled with passion, energy, and incredible rugby, the tournament brought together some of the best young rugby talent on the South Coast. In addition to Doon Heights, the other primary schools were Kuswag, Werda, Amanzimtoti, Warner Beach, Fynnland, Athlone Park, and Scottburgh.

In a statement, Doon Heights Primary School said the win was a proud moment for the school.

“This achievement is not only a reflection of our learners’ talent and dedication, but also of the support and opportunities made possible through our school community. Together, we are building champions on and off the field,” it said.
