Learners from KwaMakhutha’s Magama Primary School joined those from Collingwood and Nizam Road primary schools to learn about sharks. The learners learnt about shark habits, their diet, evolution, and water safety. SDCEA’s Tristan Meek said it was a hands-on experience featuring a real shark dissection and a compelling documentary.

“Days like these are crucial for showing the next generation why a healthy ocean needs sharks, and why we all need a healthy ocean. This hands-on experience is all about fostering a love for our oceans and building a brighter, bluer future for everyone,” said Meek.
