EDITOR – Amanzimtoti River is a disgrace. As you come onto the bridge from the old town centre, near the river it is so polluted.
I am sure those responsible for cleaning drive around with their eyes closed or only see what they want to.
The pavements are not kept in good condition, grass is overgrown onto the pavements, and drains and gutters are full of dirt and mud. We all pay our rates and taxes so why can the municipality not keep it looking good?
Go to Umhlanga where they keep their town spotless. Just because we are on the South Coast doesn’t mean we cannot do the same
