EDITOR – Thankfully I received a reminder from the Road Traffic Department that my driver’s licence needed to be renewed.
I say thankfully because I would never have thought five years could have flown past so fast.
I went to the relevant section at the Winklespruit Testing Ground last Saturday to get the renewal and have nothing but praise for the excellent service I received. Helpful and pleasant staff from the security woman on duty to the admin staff and cashier. Plus the section was open and good to go promptly at 7am. My only advice to those who need to go is to make sure that you have all the documentation needed.
Great stuff.
I can almost see the readers of this letter checking the expiry date on their drivers licences right now.
