Winkle bowlers to get bools day entries in

WINKLESPRUIT Bowling Club’s Clearwater Spur mixed 2-4-2 first session on Saturday, 18 January was won by Dries and Sandy Snyman.
Second session won by Paul and Jeanette Els and overall winners were Martin and Elmarie Young
On Thursday, 23 January, in the Eagle Canyon men’s 2-4-2 the 100 board won by Herbert Hofmann, second session won by Das Veldsman and Sean Sutherlan, while overall winners were Brian Bodley and Allan Duncan.
On Sunday, 26 January, in the Eagle Canyon mixed trips, the spider was won by Dries Snyman and the 100 board by Lionel Bruce. Second session was won by Paul and Jeanette Els and Brian Cox. Overall winners were Estelle van der Merwe, Errol Theron and Piet Du Toit.
A big thank-you to Glasiena and John Powell for the lovely meal which everyone enjoyed on Friday, 24 January. Club competitions are now on the board, and the club urges all members to start playing soonest. Saturdays can be utilised to play these competitions.
Check the noticeboard for the entry forms for the bools day on 6 August, as teams need to complete their own entry forms and submit before the closing date.
