Mixed nominated pairs keeps Winkle bowlers busy

WINKLESPRUIT Bowling Club’s mixed nominated pairs bowls took place on 21 March.
Mac and Joyce Macrory defeated Clasina and John Powell, Martin and Elmarie Young defeated Andre Gelderblom and Norma Raath, Paul and Jeanette Els defeated Allan Raubenheimer and Trish Farmer, Mike and Di Kruger defeated Des Robarts and Bessie Vergottini, Gladys Yelland and Freddy Hetterschidt defeated Mac and Yvonne Appelby, Bill Rawlinson and Susan Erasmus defeated Lulu and Eddie Bingham.
In the women’s senior singles round one, Charlotte Kohl defeated Lulu Bingham.
On Sunday, 23 March the Clearwater Spur mixed nominated trips 100 board was won by Isabel Milne, second session went the way of Andre Gelderblom, Brian Farmer and Norma Raath, while overall winners were Mac and Joyce Macrory and Mac Appelby.
Congratulations to the men’s league teams who participated on Saturday, 22 March at Westville Country Club.
The club’s team made us proud and scored three points. Good bowling was enjoyed by all.
