THE weather gods are certainly playing their part with this past Sunday being a fantastic day for training at Winklespruit Surf Lifesaving Club.
Once again the beach was full, with a good number of nippers and juniors in action.
Nipper parents note that sunscreen is compulsory even this early in the season. Thanks to the terrible twins, Denise and Deleyse for the cooking last Sunday, the food was great. Training this Sunday once again starts at 8.30am – all children are welcome.
Congratulations to Megan Barber on her 18th birthday. The club veranda is undergoing a major revamp – many thanks to all who are helping on this project. Senior and junior training is on the go, members are to keep in contact with club captain, Gareth Hazell for details and venues.
