Isipingo football body revived
It is hoped that all will attend the next meeting to be convened by the executive.

THE Isipingo and District Football Association (IDFA) has been revived some 24 years after it was dissolved.
The HLVPs (Honarary Life Vice Presidents) and soccer legends of Isipingo have worked hard to resurrect the association, and they have embarked on an extensive junior soccer coaching and league programme for 2015 onwards.
The association has also garnered the services of professional soccer coaches from the South African National Coaching Academy to form a branch in Isipingo.
“We are appealing to ex officials, soccerites and school sport organisers to form junior teams from U17, U15, U11 and U8 divisions to administer organised and competitive leagues which will eventually affiliate to a recognised provincial association.
The HLVPs will launch the association to introduce the members of the executive and council.

The HLVPs confirm the newly elected executive committee and council representatives, which include chairman Mark Gounder; deputy chairman Bimal Brijlal; general secretary Eddie Muthusamy; assistant general secretary Dhirren Nulliah; treasurer Calvin Govender; council members and soccer legends Gopi Naidoo, Bull Govender, and Vincent Pillay.
Congratulations to the newly elected IDFA executive and council members.
It is hoped that all will attend the next meeting to be convened by the executive. To members who have attended, thank you.
“We have a collective social responsibility to promote junior soccer in order to have balance at all levels,” said Ronnie Vengan.
