RWFL wishes Comrades runners well
Lynette Botha while Sure Herbst will be taking on her second challenge.

WITH less than a week to go before the big day, all Comrades hopefuls should now be well and truly into recovery mode.
No amount of training done in this week will help you on the day but doing too much will definitely hinder you.
This last bit of time would be better spent making sure you have not forgotten any vital piece of equipment or nutritional supplement that you may want to use on the day.
Run Walk for Life Amanzimtoti members held a braai on Saturday morning to wish all Comrades runners well for the big day. It was well attended by all and it was good to see the walking members out to support the runners. Some RWFL competitors are Edmund Luiz, who will be attempting number 24; Shaun Finn will be doing his 20th as will Nkosinathi Mbonambi.
Ephraim Mnyandu will be doing his sixth while Sphiwe Dludla will be attempting her third run. Nhlanhla Mthembu is a novice, as is Lynette Botha while Sure Herbst will be taking on her second challenge. If running Comrades is on your bucket list but you think it’s impossible, go down to Amanzimtoti High School grounds on Monday, Wednesday or Friday afternoons between 5pm until 6pm. Alternatively call Janine or Lee on 073-271-1514.
