Brian and partner scoop mixed 2-4-2 at Winkle BC

WINKLESPRUIT Bowling Club welcomes new member Bill Cope.
Thanks to Elmarie Young for preparing a delicious dinner which was served after the social bowls on Friday, 17 July. The weekly attendance draw was won by Gert Richter who could not claim his prize due to his absence.
On Saturday 18 July the monthly Clearwater Spur mixed 2-4-2 was played. First session winners were Brian Pasfield with long-time partner Sylveigh Ananiadis. Second session winners were husband and wife team, Martin and Elmarie Young. The overall winners were Brian Farmer and partner, Lulu Bingham. Sandy Snyman won the 100 board draw.
On Sunday, 19 July, two men’s semi-finals were played. Brian Pasfield and Jonty Denysen won their games against Eddie Bingham and Allan Duncan respectively. The final will be played on Saturday, 25 July at 9am. Go along and support the game, which is going to be a nailbiting final.
Diarise: Social bowls on Wednesday at 1.30pm, Friday at 2pm and Saturday at 9am.

Sunday, 26 July – monthly mixed trips at 9am. Indicate your availability on the players’ list posted on the notice board. A bring and braai will be enjoyed after the game.
Tuesday, 28 July – pensioners league at Woodlands Bowling Club.
Thursday, 30 July – men’s 2-4-2 competition at 9am.
