Lifeguards awards aplenty at WSLC
Nippers trained last Sunday under the guidance of Neville Hazell.
CONGRATULATIONS are due all round, as the following Winklespruit Surf Lifesaving Club (WSLC) members obtained the various lifeguard awards this past weekend: Deirdre Bentley, Mia Liebenberg, Brittney Luther, Ruben Myburg, Brendan Fibiger, Jordan Taylor, Evan Geldenhuys and Troy Smith.
Thanks to club captain Gareth Hazell for all his hard work in instructing this class and congratulations to Gareth on obtaining his instructor’s certificate.
The last round of retests for Winkle members takes place on Sunday, 29 November. Members still to do their retests must watch the updates on the Whatsapp group.
The nippers trained last Sunday under the guidance of Neville Hazell. Note that the first nipper exams will take place on 6 December, so keep up the swimming.
