Take note of mixed doubles tennis league fixtures
Midweek women league fixtures are now on the notice board and players will be selected for the two teams.
AMANZIMTOTI Tennis Club had another good turnout for social tennis last Saturday.
The club welcomed several visitors.
Mixed doubles league is due to start on Saturday, 9 April.
Fixtures have been posted on the notice board, and the team’s selection will be done in the next few days. Players will be notified accordingly.
Midweek women league fixtures are now on the notice board and players will be selected for the two teams. This league commences on Wednesday, 6 April. The children’s development clinic, which resumes on Saturday, 9 April, takes place from 9am to 10am each Saturday morning during school terms. All youngsters who are interested in learning the game will be shown the ropes by Madi and Gabriel. The club makes some racquets available and players are asked to wear suitable shoes.
As the number of children attending the clinic grows, the club appeals to members to assist with the training for just one hour. Simply arrive at the club by 9am on Saturdays.
