Annalie, Heather strike it lucky at women’s trips

IN the women’s Winkle Spar trips which was played on Thursday, 5 January at Winklespruit Bowling Club, overall winners were Nita Meumann, Amanda Ninow and Marie van der Walt.
First session was taken by Heather Brown, Jackie Holdrick and Linda Mc Gregor. Second session winners were Annalie Pienaar, Yvonne Hooper and Wilma Richter. The 100 board winner was Heather Brown and Annalie Pienaar won the spider. Sylveigh Ananiadis won the mystery prize.
Mike Kruger was the winner of the attendance draw on Friday evening. It will be a carry over as he was not present.
Social bowls will be played on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Take note of the starting time for Wednesday and Friday social bowls, which is 2.30pm for 3pm.
An evening meal will be available once again this Friday. Indicate before Friday for catering reasons, on the list on the board or call Trish on 082-483-5875 if you will be enjoying the meal.
The Saturday Les John mixed 2-4-2 will be played on Saturday, 14 January at Winkle Bowling club with an 8.30am for 9am start. Indicate on the list on the notice board if you will be playing.
Congratulations to Adrian Morrison, Barry Hilton, Linda Hobbs and Elaine Critchlow who are celebrating their birthdays this week and a speedy recovery to all those who are not well. Members’ prayers and thoughts are with them.
