Strong Supa Mama finish for RWFL athletes

This race is known as one of the toughest races on the KZN race calendar.

A FEW of the Run Walk for Life (RWFL) members supported the Supa Mama 10km/21.1km race at Morningside Primary School.

This race is known as one of the toughest races on the KZN race calendar.

RWFL’s Reg Groves did the 10km in 1:24:00 (walking) and Lizette Botha 2:13:00 in the 21.1km race (running). Both these are considered good times for this event.

Members doing the Mandela Marathon races this coming weekend should note that all three events will start off at 6am from the specific areas as indicated on the entry forms. There is no registration on the morning of the race.

Good luck to all runners and walkers entering this race. They are wished a personal best and an injury-free race.

To train in the great outdoors while meeting and making new friends, join Jan and Lizette Botha at Amanzimtoti High School on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons at 5pm. For more information contact Jan on 082-290-4025.

Reg Groves completes the Supa Mama 10km walk in a time of 1:24:00.
