Amanzimtoti Bowling Club greens open for play
Sanitisation protocols are to be observed with no more than 24 players on a green.

It’s been a much quieter festive season at Amanzimtoti Bowling Club than usual because of the Covid-19 restrictions and at present the club house remains closed.
However, staff are making use of this time to continue maintenance work so that the greens will be in tip-top shape when competitions start.
The greens will re-open on Saturday, 16 January, for members to practice. Sanitisation protocols are to be observed with no more than 24 players on a green and singles or pairs only, in line with the BSA requirements.
Sadly, the club lost one of its long-standing members. Jock Meldrum was a well-known member at the club and many have fond memories of his stories. Condolences go out to his family and friends.
On a happier note, there have been several birthdays during the festive season. Best wishes go to Jacqui Fouche, Jenny Delport, Michael Roberts, Guelfo Cobianchi and to Kokkie de Kock, who turned 80 this month. The club wishes him and all members good health and good bowling.
