The school’s MIC (master in charge) of water polo, Brodie Birkholtz, said it is an annual tournament consisting of six boys’ teams and seven girls’ teams.

“The boys played five games, winning one and losing four. The girls played six games, winning two and losing four. The children had been working hard to excel at this tournament. The boys went into this tournament with a very young team and performed extremely well. The girls grew as the tournament went on, and they ended it off strongly,” he said.

The next big event is a national co-ed tournament that takes place in September. “This will be against some of the best co-ed schools in the country,” said Birkholtz.
