Lace up for the Galleria Mall Challenge

The Galleria Mall Challenge consists of a 5km fun run and 10km and 21.1km races. Online entries close on March 28.

THE first-ever 5km, 10km and 21.1km Galleria Mall Challenge, in association with the Amanzimtoti Athletic Club, will be held on April 7.

According to a statement, Galleria Mall is proud to launch its exhilarating event that is sure to get hearts racing and adrenaline pumping. “Starting and ending at the mall, this race promises to be an unforgettable experience for all participants, whether a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to stay active.”

This is also a great opportunity to spend a weekend enjoying the beautiful beaches and tourist spots found along the Sapphire Coast.

The 10km and 21.1km, incorporating the KZN Half-Marathon Championship, races start at 06:00, while the 5km fun run starts at 08:00. Online entries close on March 28 – late entries on April 6. R5 of each entry will be donated to a charitable organisation.

There will be medals, prizes and money up for grabs.
