TOTI United Football Club’s (FC) U17 team recently secured a triumphant victory in their first home game of the season against Amabo FC.

Wandile Cele opened the scoring with a remarkable goal assisted by Siyabonge ‘Sheriff’ Sithole while Ameen Brahim sealed the win with a spectacular turn-and-kick, earning himself the accolade of Man of the Match.
After a penalty taken by the opposition, the game ended 2–1.
Despite a rocky start to the season with a 3–0 loss in their debut game, coach Derrick Pillay said the team kept their composure, dedication and motivation to ensure they do not lose on their home ground.
Looking ahead, Pillay emphasised the importance of discipline, skill enhancement and maintaining high morale to sustain their success throughout the year.
“Our boys are showing us, with each game, that they are prepared to rise above the challenges and showcase their skills and talent,” he said.
With two wins and one loss so far this season, the team is now diligently preparing for their next fixture.
