Despite the blistering heat, Grant Milosevich, Joanne Reinbach, Gary Kilian and Gavin Groves, happily played on.

Social tennis for club members is on Wednesdays from 08:00 and on Saturdays from 14:00. Social members can enjoy the exciting sport on Sundays from 16:00.

Committee member, Gail Wehrle, welcomed visitors to join in on social days, and said that the courts may be hired at other times should anyone like to play on their own.

“Social braais and fundraisers are held with many members joining in and having fun. Club members and the committee are very friendly and welcoming. There is a development tennis clinic which provides free coaching to children on Saturday mornings from 08:00 to 09:00, during the term. Racquets will be provided. Fun mini-tournaments for children are held during the holidays by our resident coach, Mike Ngoma,” added Wehrle.
