SPAR KZN Schoolgirls’ Fast 5 Netball Challenge begins
Kuswag Skool hopes to defend its title at the upcoming South Coast Regional, as part of the SPAR KZN Schoolgirls' Fast 5 Netball Challenge.
NEARLY 90 schools are set to have court appearances at the upcoming SPAR KZN Schoolgirls’ Fast 5s Netball Challenge, which kicks off this month.

The tournament, now in its sixth year, has hosted 34 regionals in five years since its inception. Publicist Sophie Thompson said that in its first year, the fledgling tournament started with only four regionals, quickly growing to seven areas over the following two years. It now travels to eight areas in KZN.
Nelene Rampersad, promotion, advertising and communication manager for SPAR KZN, said, “SPAR KwaZulu-Natal is pleased to see how the challenge has evolved over the years. We believe in the power of sport to build confidence, discipline and creating a sense of belonging among young women and their peers.”
Amanzimtoti Netball Club hosts teams for the South Coast Regional at Hutchison Park on August 15.
Kuswag Skool was the third team to hoist the South Coast regional trophy and are keen to have a back-to-back victory.
Thompson added that eight weeks of action-packed netball will unfold from August to September. For more information, follow the tournament on social media.
