Toti athletes conquer heated marathon

Athletes from Toti took on the Bluff Marathon 2023 in the sweltering heat on the weekend.

ELEVEN members of the Amanzimtoti Athletic Club (AAC) ran and completed the Bluff Marathon 2023 in blistering heat on November 19.

Irene Bohmer (71) came first in the 15km walk, and MornĂ© Claassen (17) won the juniors’ first place in the 21km race.

Hosted by the Bluff Athletic Club, the challenging route required runners to dig deep into their reserves to finish it.

The AAC congratulated all its runners who participated.
