A MAN was arrested for cultivating and dealing in dagga in Regents Park on Monday, May 2. Moffatview SAPS’ Constable Lucky Lekoatsoma and Constable Christoph Seinch received an anonymous tip-off about a house in Regents Park from where dagga was being sold.
On arrival at the house, the law enforcers introduced themselves as police officers from Moffatview SAPS and informed the man who opened the door that they received information that he is selling dagga.
The owner said he had a little bit and that the members are allowed to enter and search the premises. The man took out a small container and showed the police dagga. The members went to the kitchen and noticed seven dagga trees in pots. As they searched further they found large quantities of dagga on the premises as well as chemicals and fertilizers. The man was arrested for cultivating and dealing in dagga.
