Bokang Mosia celebrate National Children’s Day with Door of Hope
With Paramount Tracks as the foundations sponsors in celebration of National Children's Day the Bokang Mosia Foundation saw a need to be of great help towards Door of Hope.
THE Bokang Mosia Foundation celebrated National Children’s Day with Door of Hope Children’s Home in Glenvista on November 4.
Bokang Mosia showed their concern for the children at the home, with the aim of improving the lives of the abandoned kids staying at there, by showing care and love.
The aim of the National Children’s Day celebration is to highlight progress being made towards the realisation and promotion of rights of children. A particular right of every child that needs public awareness to be raised, is child abuse – which must be eliminated.
With Paramount Tracks as the foundation’s sponsors, the foundation saw a need to be of great help towards Door of Hope Children’s Home.
According to a representative from the Bokang Mosia Foundation, Zodwa Masinga, the principal aim of the outreach was to ensure provision for the babies whom have been abandoned; and have urgent needs.
“Not only did we as a foundation and our sponsors provide needs; we spent our afternoon at Door of Hope, assisting in their daily routine by helping feed the kids, playing with them and getting them to sleep for their afternoon nap,” said Masinga.
Door of Hope strives to:
- Save abandoned babies via our ‘baby bins’ and other network relationships.
- Bring children home and provide a safe and loving family environment.
- Build people of character by meeting their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs.
- Bridge a new and better world with competent, confident and courageous graduates.
