Church teaches shoppers about healthy living
La Rochelle SDA Church educated southerners about health at the Rosettenville Junction.
MEMBERS of the La Rochelle SDA Church gathered at the Rosettenville Junction mall recently to teach locals about healthy living and also offered free health checks including blood pressure and diabetes tests.
The members also offered shoppers dietary advice, healthy meals ideas, and tips to reduce body weight.
Nqaba Mntungwa, member of the church, said:”We also created a WhatsApp group for the 120 people we served so we can engage with them on health-related issues. We also distributed a free copy of Health and Wellness, written by a South African doctor, Dr. P.N. Landless, and Mark Finley. We still have more copies of the book available.”
