Animal drive hits jozi
The drive is intended to teach people on animal care and inform them on what to do in an animal abuse case.
The Soweto Animal Rescue and Advisory Centre (Sarac), alongside a fleet of other organizations, have teamed up to bring an Animal Awareness Drive to Johannesburg on September 23.
The drive, intended to teach people on animal care and inform them about what to do in an animal abuse case, has been said to be jam-packed with valuable information alongside affordable items and services.
Sarac spokesperson, Jerry Selwane said the drive, conceptualised by the Weekend Market, in conjunction with Sarac, invites people to the Animal Abuse Awareness Day at the Weekend Market in Johannesburg.
Doors will be open from 9am till late.
All donations are welcome.
People can expect vaccinations, minor veterinary care, chipping and tagging available on the day at reduced rates and lots more.
The Weekend Market is on the corner of Nasrec and Rifle Range in Ridgeway.
