THE case against two men accused of fraud related to property hijackings was remanded on Monday, March 26.
Alleged property hijacking kingpin Jonathan Constable and co-accused Bongani Kathide were arrested in December on a property hijacking count.
The state has confirmed the men are now facing a fraud charge.
The two men are alleged to have solicited money from property owners’ tenants and convincing them not to pay rent due to the property owners.
The case continues on April 24 at the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.
The two are appearing for their bail hearing.
