A safer passageway in Chrisville

What was once a feared pedestrian bridge is now walking-free bridge.

THE pedestrian bridge in Chrisville which was a vantage point for criminals is now being observed by police.

This follows a story, Residents fear to go near so-called ‘Walk of Death’, published in the COURIER.

It was recently reported to the COURIER by Ward 55 councillor Rashieda Landis that lights have been installed and police are monitoring the bridge frequently.

Before the intervention and police presence, some residents were taking other long routes just to avoid the bridge.
