Help Lee-Ann to empower girls in South Hills

Lee-Ann said she has seen the plight of most girls in the area and wants to extend a helping hand.

South Hills’ Lee-Ann Pretorius wants to help girls in her area and the surroundings with sanitary towels and toiletries.

She said she has seen the plight of most girls in the area and wants to extend a helping hand.

“I am a resident of South Hills and I would really like to share some hope to the community of South Hills and surrounding areas, my story is about assisting young girls, women and mothers in our communities.

“I left my job last year to spend some time with my son and create a more closer bond with my household life. I woke up one morning and just decided to give children porridge where I live out of my pocket, but in the beginning of the year I ran with a project to get school shoes donated for less fortunate children. I managed to get some people’s buy in and handed the shoes to identified children.

“I am going to start an ‘All Girls Drive’ where I would really like to get as much sanitary towels and toiletries to girls in and around our area. Therefore, I would like to request donations for this initiative, any form of donation will really help.

Being a woman myself I know it will make a massive difference in many households as not all of our girls are fortunate to have day-to-day toiletries,” explained Lee-Ann
