Potholes getting filled up in Mulbarton

The Johannesburg Road Agency is making steady progress in repairing the roads in Glenvista and Mulbarton, with Allen Road in Mulbarton being a key focus area.

The repair process is underway, and residents can expect to see significant improvements to the road’s surface.
The next step in the process will be resurfacing the road, which is plagued by numerous potholes.

The community is closely monitoring the Johannesburg Road Agency’s efforts to address these issues, and the process appears to be progressing well.

Large portion of Allen Road is cut and ready to be resurfaced.

Ward 23 Councillor Tyrell Meyers explained that work is still being done.

“They have cut the road surface where all the potholes were, to measure the areas that need to be filled and resurfaced,” said Meyers.

As the repairs near completion, residents can look forward to smoother and safer roads. The Johannesburg Road Agency’s commitment to maintaining the city’s infrastructure is evident in its diligent approach to road repairs.

Some roads are still in need of attention.
