Nkosi’s Haven is ready to motivate athletes during Johannesburg Marathon

Special signs and smiles will line the R82, as community supports big race.

The children of Nkosi’s Haven in Alan Manor, Johannesburg South, are gearing up to cheer on runners at the upcoming Johannesburg City Marathon on March 22.

The children will be part of the race as a cheering squad stationed on the marathon route, with a special greeting by the children as the runners pass by.

The children made special signs to help motivate the runners during their race and will station themselves along the R82 route, waving signs and offering encouragement to athletes tackling the 21.1km and 42.2km distances.
