In response to William Ntsanwisi

"I was quite amazed to learn that there is a Ward Development Form (WDF) in Ward 57. "

Let me first take this opportunity to correct you. It is not my responsibility as a ward councillor to remove the branches and cut the grass.

However, I request service delivery from the Municipal Owned Entities (MOE) and I monitor the performance of municipal entities. You clearly contradict yourself by saying I am not a responsible councillor, as your ANC colleague Bev should have known better as she was a councillor before and knows that the ANC lacks in service delivery.

I was quite amazed to learn that there is a Ward Development Form (WDF) in Ward 57. I made enquiries with some residents and they were as dumbstruck as myself. Needless to say this forum is only for ANC members.

I would like to assure the community of Ward 57 that I will strive to make our ward a cleaner and safer environment, and service delivery is my priority. This allegation by this person William is a sign that they, the ANC, are canvassing for the upcoming elections and they want to make their feasibility known.

In my view they don’t care about the residents, if they did, ANC’s Bev would not have left the ward in an utter mess that I am still busy cleaning up.

By the time of going to press with this letter on April 14, there was still no response from housing and the tree brunches were not removed.
