Orlando vs Amazulu

ABSA Premier League

II’S all systems go in preparation for AmaZulu FC’s second round Absa Premiership opening clash against Orlando Pirates that is to be played at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Thursday night January 23.

Tickets for this sure thriller of a match that kicks off at 19:30 are now available at Computicket for R40 (adults) and R20 (children).

Craig Rosslee (head coach) led Usuthu to come into the match with 20 points under the belt and will face Pirates who currently have eight points with matches in hand just five days after an intense fixture against Supersport United at home.

AmaZulu PR and Communications Manager Philani Mabaso says the presence of the supporters in their numbers will be crucial if the KZN side is to repeat the first round’s feat of beating Pirates 1-0 at Orlando Stadium.

“It’s going to be an exciting match without a doubt, and we need all our supporters, season ticket holders and even football lovers in general to come to the stadium and rally behind the boys.”

“To the people of Durban’s benefit it’s going to be the first league match in the province, and knowing how both teams perform against one another, it’s a match not to be missed,” said Mabaso.

“We will go into this match determined to win it,” said Head coach Roger Da Sa after going down to SuperSport over the weekend. “We have trained very well and it is just a question of bringing it all together.”
