Swimmers enjoy good weather at open water swim

Sir John Adamson learners participated in the school's event for 2018.

OVER 2 000 swimmers enjoyed a warm and calm open water swim during the annual Dis-Chem 3 000m swim.

The Dis-Chem swim is also a Midmar Mile seeding event and many of the elite swimmers, such as Olympian Chad Ho and Michael Weber, also use this event as a prediction of where they stand in their preparations for the World Cup and year-end international open water swimming calendar.
