Montclair beauty to vie for Miss SA title
Montclair beauty queen, Nomhle Mtshali (23) has been chosen as a semi-finalist in the Miss South Africa 2014 pageant.
She is one of 33 women who will vie for one of the 12 final spots.
Finalists will be announced on Sunday, 2 February on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) as part of the Miss South Africa reality show, which will début on the channel on Sunday, 26 January.
“If I won Miss South Africa I would like to meet Malala Yousafzai, the young Pakistani girl (16) who was shot for standing up for women’s right to be educated. The speech she gave this year on her birthday was exceptional. She is such a beautiful soul and an inspiration to many,” said Nomhle.
Judges Anele Mdoda, Innocent Maphumelo who is known to his fans as Black Coffee and Pnina Fenster have already begun the process of evaluating the women. The final event takes place at Sun City on Sunday, 30 March.
