No workers on site at landslide
THE section of Chipstead Road that collapsed in the early hours of Monday, 3 February remains a risk to residents as repair work has not commenced.
The SUN visited the area this morning, which had been cordoned off by tape on one side and partially blocked by a tractor on the other. An email has been sent to the eThekwini Municipality to determine when repairs will commence.
The landslide appears to be unstable, reaching across the road to a private property and veering down a steep hill opposite, towards the Bayhead area.
