Give a hoot for owl sightings
Two owl boxes have now been placed in the area and members are anxious for sightings of the birds.

THE Yellowwood Conservancy held its first meeting of the year at the Stainbank Castle.
The chairman, Colin Vermaak welcomed all members for the new year and opened the meeting.
The minutes of the last meeting were taken as read and the financial report from the treasurer.
There are many projects set out for 2014 including monitoring and reporting of pollution and preservation of flora and fauna.
We will be meeting at the Red Bishop Pond on Sunday, 16 February to assist with the clearing and preservation of the area.
The Yellowwood Conservancy meets on the third Wednesday of each month.
