Beetle games keep seniors club entertained
Members were asked to put aside suitable items for CROW

MONTCLAIR Senior Citizens Club opened its meeting with devotions, before Rev Ansie Liebenberg asked if, like Chicken Little, it felt like the sky was falling on members.
There were six prizes for the competition which was followed by jokes from Isobel, Colin and Cosy.
There were a number of apologies, and members’ thoughts were with Sheila Mattison who was in hospital having an operation.
There was a special birthday to celebrate this month as John van den Bosch had his birthday on the day of the meeting. All members with August birthdays were wished the best on their special days.
Another two women are moving out of the area this month so Montclair Senior Citizens Club is unlikely to see Doreen de Beer or Stella Taylor very often in future. The club trusts all goes well for Jessica Milledge as she has cataracts removed.
Members were asked to put aside suitable items for Crow when they attend next month’s meeting which will be on Thursday, 11 September.
The meeting was closed with thanks to Jeanne Kruger for organising and supervising the beetle games, which everyone enjoyed.
Congratulations to the winners.
