Wessa workshops on waste

The cost is R100 per person, which includes a certificate of attendance, tea and lunch.

The Wessa Treasure Beach Environmental Education Centre hosts a community workshop on waste and recycling on Tuesday, 2 December from 9am to 1pm at 835 Marine Drive, Bluff.

The cost is R100 per person, which includes a certificate of attendance, tea and lunch.

“This workshop will give participants a better understanding of how to look after our environment,” said the centre’s Tatum van Soelen. “It will provide information on issues of waste management, and the associated environmental impacts of waste and recycling.

It will also provide insights into how to reduce, reuse and recycle, as well as ‘upcycling’, which can be used to generate an income.”

To book your place, call 031-467-8507 or email petros.moya@wessa.co.za or tatum.vansoelen@wessa.co.za.
