Drum roll for vervet monkey rescue centre
The event is being held in support of Monkey Helpline which rescues vervet monkeys.

DRUMMER enthusiasts will join together to take part in Durban Drum Day on Saturday, 10 January.
The event is being held in support of Monkey Helpline which rescues vervet monkeys. Proceeds from Durban Drum Day will go towards building a new rehabilitation centre at Thula Thula Game Reserve in Zululand.
The event takes place at Musketeers at the German Club at 7 Barham Road Westville at 6pm. Entrance is free. Some of the artists performing on the day include Bruce Baker, Shawn Peterson, Shante Bekwa, Alberto Chemane, Pravin Giandhari, Devon Hore, Richard Ellis, Mike Mazoni and many more. There will also be a military drumline band, some beatboxing and audience interactive djembe drumming with Tracey Chenanie of Talking Drums.
