Four children among six injured in Tara Road head-on crash

FOUR young children were among six people people who were injured this afternoon in a three-car collision, where two collided head on, on Tara Road and Quality Street intersection just after 1pm.

“Rescue Care paramedics found two vehicles had collided head on before colliding with a third vehicle. One of the vehicles was transporting four young children home from school. Two people were seriously injured. Rescue Care’s advanced life support paramedic stabilised the seriously injured before all of the injured were transported to various Durban hospitals for further care,” said operations director, Garrith Jamieson.

The cause of the accident is unknown. Police are investigating.
