Off-key singing disturbs the peace in Woodlands

The police did not stop the noise and it carried on until 7pm on Sunday.

EDITOR – Advise on what course of action I have to follow to stop people who live in a house on the corners of De Lalle and Alamein roads in Woodlands from disturbing the peace.

They seem to be running a nightclub or something there.

For many months now they play the most irritating music sung by the most off-key people all weekend. On Saturday at 2am I called Montclair SAPS and complained and was told, “Eish you are about the 10th person to call now. It will take some time because it’s the weekend”. The police know this is an ongoing problem but seemingly do nothing about it. I have now reached the end of my tether and am speaking to my neighbours to sort this out on our own.

The police did not stop the noise and it carried on until 7pm on Sunday. How do I get hold of Operation Fiela to report this?

Please help.
