Old school policemen save the day
I phoned the police and within 10 minutes, Warrant Officer Barnard and Warrant Lesoli arrived.

EDITOR – This is just a big thumbs-up for Brighton Beach police.
My house in Torquay Avenue on the Bluff was broken into this morning on Tuesday, 9 June at about 2.30am.
A laptop, wallet and keys were stolen from my brother-in-law’s bedroom through an open window.
The robbers then gained entrance into my kitchen where they stole an I-pad and charger. Luckily for us, my German Shepherd was sleeping in our bedroom, and must have heard them, she charged out scaring the daylight out of them.
I phoned the police and within 10 minutes, Warrant Officer Barnard and Warrant Lesoli arrived.
I have an app on my I-Phone whereby you can track your I-Pad or phone, We first tracked them up the road to the address given on my phone. The police searched the yard and found nothing. I then got another signal showing they were on the move again, and were now in Vimy Road. We quickly moved to the location, and after hearing dogs barking further down, knew the robbers were now fence-hopping and were getting away.
I activated an alarm which is built into the I-Pad which sends out a beeping sound, which I followed and found all our stolen property. It had been hidden behind the garden wall, along with a flat-screen TV, another Samsung, I-Pad, wallet and a few odds and ends.
To Warrant Barnard and Lesoli, thank you so much for all your help. One can see that these two are dedicated, old school policemen who never gave up until we had found our property and were still insistent on catching the perpetrators.
