Bluff cardio colour fest to raise cancer awareness
The Zumba colour fest will be led by Candice from 10am to 11am
A FIRST-ever cardio colour fest is set to mark the fourth year of collaboration between a Bluff women’s gym and breast cancer awareness NPO, PinkDrive on Saturday, 7 November.
Curves has raised over R600,000 in previous campaigns, which resulted from the buy-in of club members who supported previous years’ fundraising events.
Curves Bluff encourages companies, women and men to its first cardio colour fest in aid of breast cancer awareness.
Participants must weat white only for the event, which runs from 9am to 11am at the Boxing Club in Tara Road. There will be a bootcamp session from 9am to 10am, which is open to anyone. This will take place in teams, with five participants per team and a R100 entry fee for each team.
The Zumba colour fest will be led by Candice from 10am to 11am and the colour powder can be purchased from any of the Curves girls wearing pink tutus, at a cost of R30 per person.
A jumping castle will be available for the children to enjoy and there will be prizes worth up to R5,000 to be won. For more information call 031-466-1174 or email curvesbluff@outlook.com.

Contributions such as these help PinkDrive to visit numerous communities across South Africa, offering the NPO’s much-needed services.
To date, PinkDrive has done:
- More than 8,000 mammograms
- More than 120,000 clinical breast examinations
- More than 170,000 women were educated on breast health
Through our involvement, we will help PinkDrive to keep their existing fleet on the road as well as help them to build more mobile mammography units.
